Today students participated in 16 fitness stations. These 16 stations are, for the most part, different than the previous 16 stations from last week. Our goal is to work different muscle groups, improve hand-eye coordination, or improve fluid movement skills at each station. Just like last week, we will work through these stations for the next few days. The stations include:
1 - Aerobic steps with 2 or 3 pound weights 2 - Side ways pushups 3 - Hula Hoops 4- Exercise dice 5- Wobblers and Balance Masters 6- Spooners 7- Pull up bar 8 - Vertical jump 9- Large cup stacking 10 - Buddy walkers 11 - Pilates 12 - Jump rope (Weighted jump rope for grades 3-5) 13 - Running man contest 14 - Falling sticks 15 - Tetherball 16- Tug-of-War
