We talked a lot about safety. We wear three pieces of equipment to keep us safe. Ask you child what those three pieces of safety equipment are.
Students in Bruce/Kiefer classes began the volleyball unit. The older students learned a bump pass and played a game called Moon Ball. Younger students started with balloons. They practiced hitting it off different parts of their body. Ask them about their first day of volleyball! Thanks! Students in Coach Bruce/Coach Kiefer classes are now done with basketball. On Monday they begin volleyball.
Students in Coach Haller/Coach Conrow classes will begin floor hockey on Monday. Students in classes after 10:30 played Sink the Ship today. Ask them about their day! Students in the Haller/Conrow classes completed our volleyball unit yesterday. We will begin a new unit next week. Today we played indoor soccer.
Students in Bruce/Kiefer classes started the day by continuing with their basketball unit. A few classes into their day they were forced to move to the small MP room. From that point on the students participated in scooter pin knockdown. The link below will bring you to a page at the Jump Rope for Heart website that contains information regarding a poster contest. Today was the very last day Jump Rope for Heart permission slips will be accepted. If students haven't already done so, please begin collecting donations. Money collected by students if due February 9. Thanks! Students in Haller/Conrow classes took a one day break from volleyball today and played scooter pin knockdown. Ask them about it!
Students in Bruce/Kiefer classes continued with the basketball unit. Today was the deadline for students to sign up for Jump Rope For Heart. Please make sure those who did sign up are raising money for this wonderful cause. The big event is February 12! Permission slips were handed out today for students interested in participating in 4th grade volleyball and basketball intramurals. Intramurals are after school from 2:45-3:45. All pertinent information is attached to the permission slips. Please return the permission slip as soon as possible, but no later than this Friday.
