Reminder that tomorrow is our emergency dismissal drill. Students will be boarding buses at 2:10. Expect them home 15 minutes earlier than usual.
Additionally, we are have a lockdown drill tomorrow. These drills help keep our students safe. Thanks!

Article regarding the use of media/technology by tweens and teens each day. We continue to go outside due to this wonderful weather. Today all students were brought outside to the soccer field. They could choose from any of the following activities:
Playground balls, flying discs, hula hoops, jump ropes, throwing/catching footballs, or scoops. Some of the older students played mini-soccer games or organized a game of kickball on the softball field. Ask your child what they chose to do today! Well, we didn't plan on being outside in November! We wanted to take advantage of this run of great weather so we took last week's game, Sink the Ship, and modified it so it worked outside. Most classes participated in this activity. Mrs. Dupuis' kindergarten and Mrs. Carey's class played Going Fishing. Ask your child how the game was changed to work outside.
We will continue to go outside this week! After winning the Section 2 Class C Title the GCS Varsity Boys soccer team will be playing in the Class C Sub-Regional Sectional game onWednesday, November 4th at 4:00 PM.
Greenville (Section 2) will be playing Potsdam (Section 10). The game will be played at Colonie High School. Please come and show your support. Travel safely. There will be a $8.00 entry fee to the event. AND The GCS Varsity Girls soccer team will be playing a Class C Final Sectional game on Wednesday, November 4th at 5:00 PM. Greenville (2) will be playing Schoharie (1). The game will be played at Stillwater High School. Please come and show your support. Travel safe. There will be a $6.00 entry fee to this event. AND The GCS Cross Country team will be competing in Sectionals on Friday, November 6th. The Boys race begins at 12:00 PM and the Girls race begins at 2:00 PM. The event will be held at Saratoga State Park. Please come and show your support. Travel safely. Entry to this event is free. Congratulations and good luck to all teams! |
