For the safety and well being of our students, the administration of our schools decided that the excessive heat was a health risk these last two days. As a result, PE class was held indoors. It was suggested that student activity be very limited. Exercising, running, and any activity that raises heart rate was scraped. On Tuesday students came to the large gym and were allowed to read, draw, play board games, or use Legos.
On Wednesday students had the same options. However, in an attempt to do something football related (our new unit started Monday), we showed a 90 second NFL rules video and followed it up with a quick group quiz on the rules of the game. The weather will break for Thursday. We will continue going outside then.
