Sorry for the delay in posting these last few days.
Students in grades 3-5 began soccer games today. Games are played on a 1/4 field and generally are 6 vs 6, 7 vs. 7. We are really focusing on staying spread out and passing to open teammates. Students in grades K-2 have been playing Pirates Gold! It's a game that involves dribbling a ball away from pirates searching for gold (the ball). We focus on dribbling the ball with "little kicks" to keep it close so the other team (pirates) can't take it away. We also extended our daily run. After exercises all grades run a lap. Each lap is 1/3 mile long. Ask your child if they can run the 1/3 of a mile without stopping to walk! Have a good night!
