We began our annual fitness week today! We set up 16 different stations throughout our gym and stage. Students rotate through the 16 stations every 2 minutes. When the buzzer sounds, students move up to the next station. Students worked in groups of 2 or 4. The stations were:
1- Aerobic steps 2- Tether ball punch and dodge 3- Broad jump 4- Shoe tying (grades 1-2) otherwise Spooners 5- Skier or snowboarder (jumping over a rope) 6- Pull up bar 7- Medicine balls 8- Jump ropes 9- Pushup Pipes 10- Hurdles 11 - Army crawl 12 - Stacking cups 13- 2 and 3 pound weights power walk 14- Relay races 15- Ab rollers 16- Duck walkers (for balance) Ask your child which stations were their favorites!
